Premium Deposit Account Rate for February was 5%.
New York Life increased the face amount for “Express Issue” cases to $5M at the end of last year. A decision has been made to leave the face amount limit at $5M indefinitely. The Express Issue program is available for clients 18-60 that apply using the E-life platform and elect to complete either a “self-complete part 2” (email) or a tele-app (phone call). If a client passes Express Issue, insurance labs will not be required. However, APS records will still be needed if they are required as part of our age/amount requirements or needed for cause. If APS records are not required NYL may be able to approve the client for coverage right away when the client passes Express Issue.
